The Microletta is an innovative electric three wheeler (trike) made by electric urban mobility pioneer Micro Mobility from Switzerland. The company was the first in the world to introduce the electric kick scooter in 1999.

The scooter has a powerful 3,000 watt electric motor for a top speed of 50 mph. The speed can be limited to 31 mph for use as moped.

The scooter has two swappable lithium batteries for an effective driving range of 62 miles.

The scooter has two tilting front wheels that provide increased safety and a shorter braking distance compared with a regular scooter.

The scooter is available in many colors.

The scooter can be ordered online and is shipped worldwide.

Disc Brakes: air pollution

Air Pollution by Disc Brakes causes 20% of the total emissions by a standard car and the pollution (ultra-fine dust) is more toxic for humans than exhaust fumes.

"Vehicle tailpipe emissions are going down, but the emissions from disc brakes will remain to some extent, even if you drive an electric car," Weber said. "Therefore, this kind of process will continue to play out in the future and will be an important consideration when we look at the health effects of particulate matter." (
